# Bug Bounty in Practice

### *An open conversation with BookBeat & Verda*

One Bug Bounty journey can teach you a lot. Put two journeys side by side – each with their own testing goals and risk profiles – and you can learn much more.

Join us on **30 September**  via Zoom for a fireside chat as two European success stories share their respective Bug Bounty experiences and lessons learned: **BookBeat**, one of Europe’s leading streaming services for audiobooks and e-books, and **Verda**, a full-stack AI cloud provider and one of the Nordics’ fastest-growing companies.

Across the Nordics, organisations are demonstrating a strong commitment to cybersecurity. [According to Eurostat](https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/statistics-explained/index.php?title=ICT_security_in_enterprises), in 2024, 59% of enterprises in Finland and Denmark and 47% in Sweden had documented measures, practices or procedures in place for ICT security – compared with just 36% across the EU as whole. Cybersecurity awareness among employees was also above the EU average in all three countries.

But strong security foundations alone can’t eliminate exposure. The [ENISA Threat Landscape 2025](https://www.enisa.europa.eu/publications/enisa-threat-landscape-2025) found that vulnerability exploitation accounted for 21.3% of observed initial intrusion vectors across the EU, second only to phishing. As attack surfaces evolve and vulnerabilities emerge at an accelerating pace, **security teams need ways to continuously uncover and mitigate risks that conventional approaches can miss**.

**On 30 September, join YesWeHack for a relaxed fireside chat with BookBeat and Verda to hear two different perspectives on Bug Bounty.** We'll explore why they turned to Bug Bounty, how it fits into their security strategies, what they’ve learned along the way and the value it brings to their organisations.
